Application forms can be downloaded from the COADE website www.pmu.edu/coade or collected in person from the COADE office or Regional Centres or Study Centres on payment of Rs.100/ for Vocational, (for Certificate, Diploma, Advance Diploma, PG Diploma & UG Programmes Rs. 200/-) , (for PG Programmes Rs.300) - with a self-addressed and sufficiently stamped large size envelope (Please note that request without DD or stamped envelope will not be entertained).

The application will be summarily rejected if there is any discrepancy between the information in the application form and the supporting documents. The name of the applicant, date of birth and qualifications will be considered as material particulars in the context.
- Admission is open to all those who have the prescribed qualifications.
- All admissions are provisional, subject to verification of the required documents.
- Admission can be availed through spot admission mode only.
- Candidates seeking admission for programmes offered by the Centre need not submit the transfer certificate/ migration certificate.
- Spot admission is offered only the convenience of the student.
- For the benefit of the candidate spot admission done our various study Centres.
a. Necessary Documents for Spot Admission
- Attested Photo copies of certificates duly signed by Gazetted Officers ( Original Certificates verified at the time of Registration).
- Passport Size Photos 3 copies.
- Payment through DD or Bank Chelan counterfoil as proof.
b. Allocation of Registration No and Identity Card
Registration no and ID Card will be allotted to the students after confirmation of admission.
c. Change of Programme
Change of programme will not be entertained at any cost. Candidates seeking admission to the various programmes are requested to exercise utmost caution before choosing their programme of study.
d. Study Materials
Study materials for students would be sent before the commencement of Personal Contact Programme classes, which will guide them for effective learning.
The Students are hereby instructed to collect the study materials from the centre where they got themselves admitted.
In addition the materials for each course will be available in the COADE website for registered students to download at their places.
e. Change of Address and Study Centre
All communications including study materials will be sent to the students to the address (Address for Communication) given by them in the application form.
Change of Address will be entertained on payment of Rs.100/-, and Change of Study Centre will be entertained on payment of Rs.500/- through Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, Periyar Maniammai University, payable at Thanjavur with a request for the change in the prescribed form.
f. Grievance Redressal Cell
Students who have grievances are advised to write only to the Grievance Redressal Cell, Centre for Open Distance Education, Periyar Maniammai University, Vallam, Thanjavur - 613 403 giving their Name, Enrolment number , Course of Study, etc., for speedy redressal.
g. Disputes
The place of jurisdiction of filing suit, if necessary, will be only at Thanjavur in Tamilnadu.
