OVERVIEW

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was started in October, 1988 and it offers a Post-graduate programme on Computer and Communication besides the UG programme. UG course of ECE has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation in 2004.

Since its inception, the department has been maintaining a high academic standard and helping the students harness their personal strength and potential as it blends academic rigour with rich industrial experience. The university stresses the importance of developing students’ personality and instilling in them the ethical values through various training programmes and consultancies. The students are qualified for jobs ranging from Advanced Hardware Research and Development to System applications.

This pioneer Department is headed by Dr.D. Kumar.
