ACTIVITIES

• Chemistry - We perform consultancy service to government organisations like PWD by doing various tests for materials such as soil, lime and water.
• Physics - The department is carrying out research in Crystal Growth, Thin Film Growth, Non-destructive testing
• Maths - Extra care has been taken by the faculty to improve the students performance in mathematics. SDP's(Staff Development Programme) is organised by the Department of Mathematics. Women In Development is organised by the Department of Mathematics in association with POWER.

ACHIEVEMENTS

• Department has presented four papers in National and International Level Conference.
• Department has published two papers in International Journal (Crystal Research and Technology, Composite Materials) and
• three in National Level Science magazines as Science articles.
• One of the department staff Mr. A.Kathalingam has been awarded YOUNG SCIENTIST fellowship by TamilNadu State Council of
• Science and Technology. "ELECTROTECHN OLOGY CLEANS THE ENVIRONMENT" Paper publised on Environment & People
