In the wake of tremendous scientific progress and technological developments, the growth of social sectors such as education, healthcare and service industry have not received the attention they deserve and are in fact relegated to the background. Having understood the gravity of the situation, the Centre aims at fulfilling the long-felt need of striking a balance among the various sectors, particularly, “social and economic equality” in the form of creating a socially committed civil service, such as IAS and IPS by providing career guidance and conducting coaching classes in order to impart political empowerment on the one hand, and inculcating a spirit of scientific enquiry, analytical skill and scholastically excellent. It offers Five years integrated M.A programmes in

(b) Public Administration

(c) Social Work

Besides, it supervises research work of scholars for M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes.
