On September 19, 2025, Stanford University (USA), in collaboration
with Elsevier, released the Stanford-Elsevier World Top 2% Scientists
List 2025. Prof. Balakumar Pitchai has been featured among the
World’s Top 2% Scientists for the 6th consecutive year (2020, 2021,
2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) in Pharmacology & Pharmacy, based on
both career-long and single-year impact.
He has authored over 135 scientific papers in cardiovascular, diabetic
and renal pharmacology, toxicology, research methodology, and
publication ethics, among others.
As of 23 September 2025, his scientific publications have received
6,650 citations with an H-index of 44.
