Celebrating Periyar’s 148th Birthday, the Drawing and Painting Club of PMIST is organizing a Mega Drawing Competition for school and college students. Participants may complete their A4 drawings or paintings at home and submit them on 16.09.2026 (Tuesday), between 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 noon at the Department of Architecture. Approximately 15 cash prizes, totaling ₹5,000, will be awarded on the same day by 3:00 p.m. . School/ College Students and Children of faculty members are invited to participate. Submit your artwork on time and become part of the record we are creating to commemorate Periyar’s 148th birthday. (You will also become an author of your painting in the e Book: Periyar 148 we are going to release. As part of the celebrations, more than 148 posters will be displayed at the Open Art Gallery, the entrance lobby of the Administrative Block, and the Indoor Stadium over three different days.
