Scholarships

Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science & Technology offers scholarships to Students based upon various criteria to further their education

Scholarships for each candidate will be decided based on the marks scored in 12th standard and in JEE or equivalent or PMIST Entrance Test for B.Tech programmes (Up to Rs.2,50,00,000). For the B.Com, BA, BBA, B.Ed, BSc programmes it will be based on the marks scored in 12th standard and the PMIST Entrance Test. (Up to Rs.15,000) The sanctioned scholarship will be given throughout the programme subject to the conditions that the student should have an all pass and a minimum of 80% attendance in the previous academic year. The decision of the management on the scholarship will be final.

    PMU campus has around 4,500 shrubs and plant varieties, 26,000 native trees and endangered trees. Such thick foliage of vegetation releases oxygen of 8.4 tonnes per day and CO2 absorption is around 1.6 tonnes per day.

    Periyar Maniammai Hospital was established during the year 1991. It has rendered more than 30 years of service to the students, faculty members and, to nearby villagers. The Hospital is functioning 24x7 with a 20-bed facility located inside the campus. It has a full-time Medical officer, two para-medical assistants.
