ABOUT THE CENTRE

CHRD was established with the core objective of enhancing the intellectual competence of faculty members and technical staff as a value addition through various training and development programmes. In line with the institution’s motto “Think, Innovate, Transform”, the centre does training need analysis to understand the areas to be improvised and appropriate training and development programmes are being conducted regularly.

OBJECTIVES OF CHRD

• To inculcate right kind of values and societal responses amongst staff members to make them responsible and knowledgeable citizens
• To impart new teaching skills, tools, techniques and values of education to the newly recruited teachers in HEI
• To update knowledge in thrust areas of research amongst faculty fraternity
• To enhance usage of ICT and e-learning resources to upgrade teaching and learning process
• To render support in improving core competence
• To make teachers think in a critical, innovative and logical way
